Are you having your kids Create Their Day? I really love doing this because they get to DECIDE what they want to learn and take ownership of their education.
It took me a while to get used to this coming from a professional educator's background where I was used to directing the classroom curriculum, but giving our kids the experience of creating their education is more realistic for life long learning!

🖍️ Project Friday!
One of the favorite things my students used to love when I taught in public school that my children also enjoyed at home was implementing "Project Friday." I created this concept to allow more time for those big ideas to become reality.
When children feel rushed, they aren't able to give their best effort and full intention to anything. We feel that same way as adults, too, right?

Fall is a great time for field trips!🍁 Check out local festivals, fairs, farms and pumpkin patches or apple picking events.
